    • Court orders, settlement agreement, notice of withdrawal, letter or any other document in which costs are tendered.

    • All disbursement vouchers that should be included in the Bill of Cost.

    • Your time billing and/or general ledger.

    Attending to Taxation

    • A detailed instruction letter.

    • Your complete file contents.

    • Court orders, settlement agreement, notice of withdrawal, letter or any other document in which costs are tendered.

    • All disbursement vouchers included in the Bill of Cost.

    • Proof of all the consultations and other time-based attendances reflected in the Bill of Cost.

    Opposing a Bill of Cost

    • A detailed instruction letter.

    • Your complete file contents.

    • The notice of intention to tax or the notice of taxation together with the Bill of Cost received from your opponent.

    • Court orders, settlement agreement, notice of withdrawal, any document in which costs are tendered.

    • Your time billing and/or general ledger.

     

    Legal Cost Consultants Fee Structure?

     

    Fees for drawing a Bill of Cost

    • 11% of the fees drafted (not taxed).

    Fees for attending Taxation

    • 11% of the first R10 000-00.

    • 6% of the second R10 000-00.

    • 3% of the balance.

    Fees for opposing a Bill of Cost

    • 10% of what was taxed-off from the Bill of Cost.

     

    Our fee structure as indicated above is in accordance with the provisions and fee structures of the Uniform Rules of Court of the Magistrates’ Court and the High Court.  Our fee structures is subject to change in accordance with any amendments to the Uniform Rules of Court of the Magistrates’ Court and the High Court.
